Don't waste your time. Downtown Toms River has managed to screw up what was once a terrific market. It's no longer a farmers market as there are no farmers. A person buying produce at the produce terminal and selling it isn't a farmer. There used to be a of minimum 5 booths with real farmers who sold fruits and vegetables that they grew themselves. They've been replaced by someone selling kitchen remodeling, someone selling soap, someone selling prayers and other non farmers stands.

Overall, it was a WONDERFUL DAY!! Great weather, A variety of fruits and vegetables to pick from. Local artists, crafts of all different materials from wood, to cast iron, to pottery, macrame (Not sure of my spelling). All of the vendors, I stopped and talked with were very gracious, and willing to work with the customers. If I can, I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHECKING THIS OUT!!

Awesome market. Check out high mountain foods. Best fresh mozzarella around. And the crab cakes and breads are delicious too. Also grab a yummy shake from the shore shakes truck. Garden state shake is my favorite.

A small market compared to some, averages about 14 or so stands but well supplied with fresh produce, baked goods and local culinary creations. There is one vendor who makes his own crab cakes and lobster ravioli. Best crab cakes this side of Maryland. If you appreciate locally grown and vine ripened produce that is always fresh, make the trip.

Old location was much better especially for handicap people. Parking was closer to vendors. Market was visible and easily accessed. Walking on pavement much better than grass. I go very little now due to this poor location. Vendors and produce still ok. Prefer to see more organic and variety though.
